Heh, I joined. Very nice forum you have there...but I must suggest that you make it a little less "bird" oriented. That will help attract more members.

I can understand having a forum for a certain type of therians. To a wolf therian, the therian community is a great place to be, because there's just so many wolves! But for just about every other type of therian, they feel alienated and alone, because they are the minority.
So I commend you on your avian site. Don't give up, even though you don't have members yet. Keep the site updated, because one day you'll find one avian therian, and it will all be worth it. ^_^
I say this from experience. Teigra (my fiance) has a feline therian site. It went months without any members, but now it's got 2 (plus us, of course). And soon, I'm sure it'll have 20! Just as sure I am that your site will have plenty of members -- eventually.

I just made it out of the blue. It's only bird oriented, because I'm a bird, and it's not meant to be birds only... it's for therians or anyone interested in therianthropy. I don't think it has anything to do with birds, and I don't really want to go changing the whole thing around, because I'm not used to the format in which invisionfree does things and although I was capable of it, it was hard work and required me to look up a bunch of stuff. Besides, I like it how it is. Really, I don't have too many members yet because it's a new forum, and I haven't really had a good way to get more members in - just a few from LJ, and a couple of other places. I'm not sure how to advertise it properly. I know there are lots of avian therians on LJ anyway, as there is a whole group of us. Don't know if any of them are aware of it, though. I think my problem at the moment is that I need some interesting ideas for topics to start. Starting topics is very often a hard thing for me to do, because I often can't think of a good idea for a topic. I do know that sometimes it can take a while for forums to get off the ground - and I don't plan on giving up yet. But yeah, Rana... it's not really "bird-oriented," aside from the background and forum name, etc. And it's not meant to be avian-only. Thanks for joining, btw. Hmm...
