Plans ruined!

So it's labor day weekened. The weather forcaster said that it would be nice and sunny this weekened, so I planned to go swimming, as it is for the most part, my last chance until next summer to swim outside. Nice and sunny, warm weather, what could go wrong? Well, suddenly my left ear starts hurting. I did ignore this pain for a few days, but finally decided to head to the clinic, where it turned out not just my left, but BOTH my ears have middle ear infections. No doubt this was from the terrible allergies I was experiencing earlier in the week. I asked the doctor (wishful thinking) if I could still swim, knowing full well the answer. She just gave me this look like, "Are you kidding me?!" and said, "No."

So here I am, stuck with a lovely weekened of pain, antibiotics, and a various assortment of other meds (including tylonal), instead.
