My mom has ALWAYS taken everything out on me. Even when it's my dad, or one of my sisters that made her mad in the first place, she always blows up at me. And I can always tell that it's not really me she's yelling at, but it still really hurts me! And what makes it worse is that she's so mean to her family, but a complete stranger at the store who makes her mad gets treated with three times the respect she could ever show me or my sisters, or even my father!
It just gets soooo annoying and painful.

i understand it, i dont really have that problem as much, so i know im not the one to speak. though i know what it feels like when people take their frustration out on you, so im very sorry for you.
no respect for the family? thats strange... maybe she's just stressed out or something, a vacation can give miracles in that case
have you tried confronting her about it?

Equinuus, when reading your post, it was almost as if you were writing about my mother! I can totally empathize. My mother gets so easily aggitated with me, but then is so kind to people outside of the family. Most people say that she's very sweet, but not always to me. So you're not alone in your feelings/situation!

Thanks Sly ^_^ Yeah, she usually takes everything upon herself, and then blames it on us (the family) for her taking all this crap onto her shoulders. It's wierd, none of us get it. I think everyone has tried talking to her about her attitudes more than once, but she always gets upset and stomps off. She usually doesn't talk to any of us for a week after it *rolls eyes* We've pretty much gotten used to her tantrums though.
*sigh* thank you Sekkada, and I'm so sorry that we're stuck in the same boat. I guess that the most we can do is hope and pray that we don't turn into our moms, right? ^_^

I've known people like this, and I have a really, really hard time understanding them. I mean, it's family you should show the most respect towards.
