What do you wish to be called?
Well, since my username is WinterWolf, that suits me fine. I don't really have any nickname etc.

How old are you?
Currently, I'm 16, soon to be 17.

Are you male or female, or somewhere in between? In other words, what is your gender identity?
Female.

Are you a therian?
I believe I am a therian, but I am not sure of it. Not entirely anyway.

What is your theriotype?
Wolf, probably grey wolf or arctic wolf. Although I might be some other kind, I am not sure. I'm still searching for what I am.

How did you come to these conclusions?
Well, I've sometimes experienced that I feel like a wolf. Although, I do not feel this all the time, but only when I'm in a shift. Other than that, well, I sometimes pick up a wolf-like behaviour. I guess it's not much "proof" so to say, but I have no other way for explaining it, really.

What kind of influence is your theriotype? In other words, is it an inner influence, and outer influence? Or something else entirely. Please explain!

Have you ever shifted? If so, what are your experiences with shifting?
Yes, I have had mental shifts, dream shifts and phantom shifts. Most of them have been involuntary, although I do know how to trigger them.

Do you consider yourself any particular "type" of therian? In other words, are you a contherian? A syntherian? So on. (If you do not know what these terms mean, that's alright, please let us know.)
Well, I am almost certain that I'm a shifting therian.

How long have you known about your therianthropy? When did you come into the community?
I've known about it for some years, only back then I didn't know what it was. I came into the community sometime in the winter 07/08.

Are you otherkin?
Not that I know of.

What led you to this conclusion? If you are both otherkin and therian, please explain why you feel you are both.
Well, I haven't had any experiences that would point me in that direction, really, so I can't know.

How long have you known about otherkin? When did you realize you are otherkin?
I've known about the existance of otherkin since just about the same time that I joined the therian community.

What do you hope to gain from joining our community?
A possibility to get to know myself and what I am, aswell as general knowledge of therianthropy and otherkin community.

Well, when I'm in a shift, I feel very much like I really am a wolf, but when I'm not in a shift, I usually don't feel like I am a wolf, although I feel somehow bonded to wolves in general, such as keeping an eye out for articles about them, or discussing wolf behaviour.

I currently believe that I am both human and wolf, interacting. (I say currently, because my opinions will probably change over time.)
Not that I have two entirely different personalities, but that when I shift, my wolf self becomes more strongly "visible" to me, in the way that I feel like a wolf very much. When I'm not shifted, however, it's my more human self that is strong and is dominant.

I do feel that I am both wolf and human, and altering between the two states of mind/behaviour etc.

I hope that gave a fairly good answer to it
