Blah, it's boring here! Wake up! *shakes monitor*
So who here actively practices totemism? If you do, describe how you work with totems. What are your techniques? Do you use any tools? Etc etc.
I will answer later. :3

I practice totemism. I mostly work and learn form my totems during my dreams and while I mediate. I also want to work my totems into other parts of my spirituality but I’m not exactly sure how. I’ve been looking up ways of working with your totems but have not had much luck.

Same here, though I willingly admit to being sort of new. I've always found totemism interesting and felt it right for me, but over the past year or two, I've been more involved in it. There are more instances now in which I feel I can understand the message that's being given me, and there are other times when I'm left totally stumped - like with barred owl. XD
I probably should do more meditation and such, but I often recognize totemic instances which show up in my physical life - though I can't say I always know how I should interpret them.
Tools, as of yet, no. Though I do collect certain "treasures," which do hold very special meaning to me.

I'm more or less the same way, and I'm new to totemism too. I'm still trying to grasp what is meant by "tools" -like RedFeather, I collect things that make me feel closer to my totem, and I reflect on my totem in meditation when I sense her presence, and incoperate as many aspects of Arctic. Fox in my life as I can. Beyond that, I don't know if there's more to it that that, or if anything else actually needs to be done.
