I am vulnavia.
I am 52 years old and female
I am what you may call therian (bobcat).
I have always been the way I am. Living with my family in the Ozark hills far away from others, I was not aware that I was 'different' from children until I started first grade (5 years old)
I do not shift, or at least I do not consciously do so. I am always me.
I just learned the term 'therian' from an aquaintance. I am not familiar with contherian, otherkin, etc.
I do not consider myself part of any community. I have wasted breath and too many years trying to explain what makes me, me.
I was just seeking those who are actually like me (besides my brother)
I think I have met the criteria for introductions. That said:
I am a hunter. A drinker of blood and eater of flesh (preferably raw, thank you) My first solid food was raw hamburger. I revel in chasing down my prey though as I age I find myself hunting slower animals such as groundhogs, roadkill deer and squirrels, or (bleah) flavorless storebought meat.
My views on religion: I have studied, in detail, every religion I ever heard about. Know what I discovered? One man-made religion is pretty much like the rest. Similar themes, similar tales, similar deities for the most part. It seems mankind cannot just accept 'IS'. Or the 'I AM', if you will. They have to externalize it, make the 'I AM' a higher outside power instead of keeping it internal. Too afraid to look into the dark and know that there is nothing beyond? I am the 'I AM', the 'that which is'. I live for this day, this moment. While I may provide for a future I do not go hungry today so that I may have food tomorrow. If I die then not only is the food wasted, but I died hungry. And we all die.
Oh, and I am not a ray of sunshine. TBSS
