... and this would be me, releasing my first hawk. I'm quite happy and proud right now. smg.photobucket.com/albums/v414/Minstelae/RaptorFest/?action=view¤t=MOV00814.flv'Tis a rough-legged hawk that came in with a ruptured crop - she had run into a window or something, I believe. After she flew, she perched in a tree on the edge of the field, and was soon joined by what seemed to be a friend of hers - another rough-legged hawk. It was quite a beautiful occurrence. Just thought I'd post that because... well... it was awesomely awesome, and also, because I might as well be posting something here. Yes. I realize I look like crap. ~RedFeather~

Lol... I think there is.
But... man... they're all so beautiful when you see them up close - it's amazing. But even more beautiful to see them fly free.

Maybe photobucket was crapping out? It does that, sometimes... and that's where I have it uploaded. Well, I live in Bozeman, Montana. The raptor center itself is just out of town, and we volunteer there on Saturday mornings. That specific field, is just a field around the area in which she was originally found, since they usually try to release them in familiar territory.
