I was wondering whether anyone here believed in vampirism. By vampirism, I mean both blood drinking vampires and psy-vampires. I know there is a very active psy-vampire community on the internet but I recently began paying closer attention to the idea when one of my friends "came out of the coffin" so to speak, claiming to be both a psy-vampire and a sanguinarian. I am torn between disbelief and beliefs. On the one hand, it seems a little fadish. But then again, so could beliefs such as therianthropy to an outsider. Basically,
- Do you believe in Psy-Vampirism or Sanguinarianism?
- Do you know anyone personally who categorizes themselves as such?
- Do you categorize yourself as such?
- Do you have any other opinions or ideas about these types of vampirism?

Do you believe in Psy-Vampirism or Sanguinarianism? I'm not willing to say. As a concept, it sounds very iffy. People who need to feed off the energy of others because they don't make enough? That's the kind of thing you need proof for. Not really, I haven't run into anyone who claims to be a vampire off the internet, which is kind of wierd, as I think they outnumber therians. Really, I think what you're asking for here is not a simple list of questions, but something to base an opinion off of. If you compare Vampirism with Therianthropy, you'll notice that both communities have monster-genre roots, however, there is a major difference in the internal meanings. Vampirism is all about energies and such, and to believe in it requires a belief in those things. Therianthropy, on the other paw, is very open to different beliefs, and requires one to believe in very little. If you really want to figure this out, maybe you should look around for some more information on the subject, maybe use some techniques like making lists of things?

Do you believe in Psy-Vampirism or Sanguinarianism?
Yes, I believe there are psy vamps. Sanguinarianism, probably, though I haven't personally encountered it. I have had experiences with energy-draining people, though - one to the degree that I could not stay awake at all during this class when I was in high school. I always got extremely fatigued in this one class. I went to the doctor, and nothing was found to be wrong with me. I've wondered ever since if someone was taking my energy. That's not to say that I feel all energy-vamps and the like are evil or anything - I just think that whoever was taking my energy wasn't really thinking about what they were doing. They might not even be aware of it.
Do you know anyone personally who categorizes themselves as such?
I know of someone online, but I don't know of anyone offline who does.
Do you categorize yourself as such?
No, but I do consider myself an empath.
Do you have any other opinions or ideas about these types of vampirism?
No, sorry. It's not really anything I've studied in depth, and it's not really my place to say, as I haven't done so.

Hey, This forum has been abandoned. We've all migrated to Therian Forest. Hope to see you there!

Do you believe in Psy-Vampirism or Sanguinarianism? Yes I do considering I myself am I Vamp. However I don't beleive in catagorizing vampires as such. Any vampire can feed from blood or energy even if they need some help with psy-feeding (very common beleive it or not). Most vampires that I know catagorize themselves by their primary feeding habbits. I myself am more partial to tantric energy (no I am not a perv. This is perfectly natural)
Do you know anyone personally who categorizes themselves as such? Myself and several freinds of mine.
Do you categorize yourself as such? Indeed
Do you have any other opinions or ideas about these types of vampirism? Vampires are like everyone else, in the sense that each person is unique and different. The only thing "vampire" means is to have an enery deficiancy, to not be able to reproduce energy naturaly.

I think both psi-vampirism and sanguinarian vampirism are evil, because they both require their followers to steal energy from other people. I think that Satan invented vampirism as a way to turn people away from God, and have strife between one another. I believe that psi-vampirism is a physical phenomena caused by demons that inhabit the bodies of vampires and their victims, who either increase or decrease their host's energy level.

i think speaking out of ignorance is usual for most people who claim to be Christians but cannot find the love that is required for agape love. sad really. they give Christians a bad name and ruin the message.
