I have been talking with RedFeather (the only active staff member on this site), and we have come to the realization that this board cannot run smoothly for very long with no administrator and only a moderator with limited powers. We have therefore decided that it is in the best interests of the community that we all move to a new location (still on proboards) with RedFeather and I as the administrators. We would rather not do this, but there seems to be no other option, especially with the adminitrator gone.
For those who do not know, the administrator (Thylae/Sikkada/Nova/Any other name she used) left the therian/otherkin community a year ago for the furry community, and has since ceased all communication with those inside the community. Since then, RedFeather (the only mod here, as Nousagi seems to have left) and I have been trying to keep the board running smoothly, but as I said, it is not sustainable without any administration.
SO: We are currently in the process of developing a new forum with the current title "The Therian Forest" (subject to change) to which we will push all the members of this forum. In the meantime, some input from the users here would be helpful.

Whoops. Seems like my lodging here was ill-timed. So are there any set dates as to when the board will traverse?

I don't know, even, if I will be making a new forum. Sherlawk can if he wants, but I can't really be relied upon to be active.

I'm going to make a new one at some point, though not now, as I am trying to take time away from the community. As for moderators, I'm not sure who I'll put in at the moment, but it won't be based on activity alone.
Right now, I want this thread to fill with advice and such. What do you guys want to see? how might this site improve? What do you like and not like? Want to see new forums and features? Tell me.

About those features, by the way, we will have new, animalistic smilies, like the ones on WereSource, as I origionally made those for Were-Wolves Anonymous back when it began, and they seemed one of the most liked things before it tanked. (I'll probably take some of the other graphics - stock avatars, thread icons, etc - too) You'll also have a choice of site skin, which will probably be from a Forest (like here), a Sky, and a Nighttime one. I will also have clearer and better rules and regulations.
When we migrate, I'll make sure to bring over all the major and active topics, so that you don't have to start fresh. All you guys will need to do is make new accounts and copy/update your intros, I will do the rest, even transfer your post counts for you.

Ok, I have a forum up. Go ahead and start registering there, and I'll start adding new forums and threads for you guys. When you register, I'd like you all to repost an introduction there and perhaps even link back to your introduction here. (actually, I have set it up so that you must make a post in there in order to post elsewhere. why? because I think having mandatory introductions is a good way to weed out loonies and people who don't read the rules.)

As I said before, I will copy over your postcounts when I see you registered. I will also transplant the major threads so that they can be continued.

Many of you will be happy that I have put in a nocturnal skin, which is dark and easy on the eyes (there's a bright sky one too). I will also be setting up a website and IRC Chat for the site, so anticipate that. I will also send everyone on this forum a notification, in case they haven't seen this post, please tell anyone you see about the new forum.

Now, as an administrator, I'm going to run things much different than Thylae, this is because of my experiences with forums, especially those dealing with therianthropy and spirituality. I'm going to also try some experimental methods for some things.
