'Lo all, the names' Ritz (well, not really, but it's the only thing you people are getting ). I only recently found out I'm a therian. (thank gawd for the internet, or I would have never realized it!) My theriotype is a maned wolf (go me...!) and, beside the people I've talked to on the 'net, I've only told one other person, who doesn't even know what a therian is. I wouldn't have told him either, but we were in a kind of religious debate, and it slipped out. Therianthropy isn't exactly a religion, but it's the only thing I've got. If my parents were anyone besides... them, I might have told them. Anyone else, and I might have actually wanted to tell them, bottling it up like I've been doing makes me wanna pop. Or scream. Or beat my head against the wall. But picture this; I'm watching some old, really cheesy 80's TV show called "werewolf", and they go off on me about letting 'demons' into my life, and that dark things like that arn't what I'm supposed to be getting into. Am I really expected to tell them about being a therian? Let me rephrase that; Do I really want to live on the streets? They'll kick me out, no joke. Anyway, thats pretty much everything. Sorry it took so long for me to get around to introducing myself, I've been busy lately.

Welcome to the boards Ritz! *gives you plate of cookies that gives +50 to feeling welcome* I have the same problem with my parents, so I know how you feel. It's very difficult holding something in for that long, especially from people you usually love. Anywho, hope you make yourself at home ^_^ feel free to drink the water, it's not contaminated, but you may want to avoid the complimentary mints.

Nice to meet you! I understand the feeling of having to hold it in too. I live with some very closed minded individuals and they would probably think me delusional or something if I told them.

Ever seen Christian Therianthropy? You might find some good advice there. werecat.proboards31.com/Yes, certain people take the bible too far, they are foolish in youth, but in time, they usually begin to wizen and see why it is not important to convert everyone, and damn everyone else. It's sad when they do not grow out of it... But there is little tthat can be done for such people...
