Hi! I'm a only 15 years old girl who live in... Sweden. That means I'm not the best on English, grammatical and spelling. But there aren't any Swedish therian communities and this one seemed really nice! I've been watching you. Anyway, I'm insecure. I don't now if I'm a therian or not. For some years I really were a wolf, that was even before I heard of therians. Then it faded. Maybe because I tried to get rid of my feelings (people looked at me as if I were crazy and my parents laughed at me). Then some year later I discovered therianthropy on the internet. I was stunned, it was my feelings exactly! Well, at least feelings I had before. Now I don't know, I'm seeking myself. I am pretty sure I'm a canine. And if I'm not a therian I still admire you people who are. I am a Christian from birth and belief. That is no problem. One thing doesn't exclude the other, to me. Oh, and my name on this site is Yakone, witch means "red aurora". I thougt of northern lights aurora...

Ah! Welcome to the boards, Yakone! It is great to have you here. *gives you basket of goodies and sweets* Make yourself at home, and feel free to ask questions and be a part of the family ^_^
I can definitely relate to your story, as many of us therians can. Because we aren't "normal" in the worlds respect, we aren't to be accepted. Personally, I turned of my therian sides like you did until I realized that I wasn't alone in what I was experiencing.
Anywho, enough rambling from me. ^_^ Enjoy your stay here, fruend

Welcome, Yakone! I'll admit that I'm still figuring myself out as well, as I am not so sure that I am a cicada. I've always felt more canine, so I'm with you on that one.
Anyway, great to see a new member! Enjoy!

Hi! Red Aurora, that's a pretty name. Yeah... for those reasons, I keep my therianthropy (as well as my spiritual side, in general) a secret from most people.

Thank you! *Takes the basket* It's good to know that I'm not alone of being shut of my feelings. I guess not many "come out" as therians.

^_^ Welcome Yes, it is a sad fact that there are lot of people turning away from what they really are inside and out. Therians as well as many other types of Otherkin. *stops self from rambling on the tastelessness of human kind and the cruel monochromatics of their standards*

Hiya ^^ Yup, the story's pretty much the same on my side. Run around on all fours because it feels more... fun(?) then it does to just walk on two legs, and you get funny stares from people, or else they just point and laugh. At which point you stop acting how you want to, and start behaving like everyone expects you to. Sucks, don't it?
Anyway, hi again. *waves and goes back to my quite little corner*
